Important rules and limitations used by this tool.
Annual leave entitlement30 calendar days for each year after completing one year. For service exceeding six months but below one year, the statutory estimate uses two days per month.
Leave salary while taking leaveEstimated using the full monthly wage divided by 30, multiplied by the leave days.
Unused leave at terminationEstimated using the last basic monthly salary divided by 30, multiplied by the unused legally due leave balance.
Gratuity eligibilityStandard gratuity is estimated only after at least one year of continuous eligible service.
Gratuity rates21 days of basic salary for each year of the first five years and 30 days for each year above five.
Gratuity exclusions and capUnpaid absence days are excluded. The result is capped at 24 months of basic salary.
